I would like to know how to avoid white transparent objects showing an overlap in InDesign. See example image. I can avoid it when using any color other than white, by using a tint of the color, instead of transparency. With white, I can't spec a tint, I suspect because InDesign doesn't see white (paper) as a color. Tried grouping, blending modes, knockout group, isolate blending- nothing. I'm using CMYK for print.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
That's correct. [Paper] is the absence of ink, so a tint means show some of what's behind it.
What would a tint of white look like? Are you printing a spot white ink (you can do that, if you have a spot plate and the white ink)?
That did it.
Thanks much Rob. You made my Day
