Drag & Drop an image into a PDF Form or Document

I create reports not unlike what a residential real-estate appraiser might create, including photo pages.  I currently create each page using a pre-made MS-Word doc which has text boxes which I drag and drop the image files into.  I then  merge the saved word files along with the other report elements into a single PDF report.  I would like to skip a step and create these Photo Pages using a document or form created using Acrobat X.  Ideally, I could share this with associates who use Reader, such as I do with  common PDF forms already.  Any ideas on how I can go about this?

Here is a page as an example of what I am trying to do:

          Hi pault36225916,

As per my understanding, you are using Acrobat X and want to add images directly into the PD document (correct me if I am wrong, please).

If so, then you can follow the steps given below:

          1. Go to Tools > Content > Edit Object Tool

          2. Right-click the page and choose Place Image

          3. Choose any of these image formats: bmp, jpeg, gif, pcx, png, jpeg2000 or tiff

          4. Select an image file and click open.

A copy of an image file appears on the PDF page with the same resolution as the original one.

Hope the above information helps you.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

          Regards,
