On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running?
What video files will not play in Windows Media Player.- video files that were exported from Premiere Elements 13?
If that is the case, what were your export choices under Publish+Share/what/what and what preset?
But, when you bring in
I have Premiere 12 and everything works fine with it"
What is the "it" in "Premiere 12 and everything works fine with it"? Please give details of "it".
Please explain.so we can get at your audio but no video situation. And, please link things together by letting us know where this
audio with no video occurs - in Windows Media Player or a Premiere Elements 13 Editor.
I have Windows 8.1. When I attempt to open a finished video from Premiere Elements 13 with Windows Media Player I get audio but no video. I still have Premiere Elements 12 installed and this doesn't happen with 12. When I open the finished video with Cyberlink DVD player it plays perfectly.
Premiere Elements 13 on Windows 8.1 64 bit
What are your export settings for this finished video from Premiere Elements 13?
For example - are you using
with Presets = MP4 H.264 1920 x 1080p30
or something different like
with Presets = MPEG2 1920 x 1080i30
or something different ....
We are going to have to get at your export settings which gets us to the properties of the finished video that you are trying to play in Windows Media Player.
If you take your finished video from Premiere Elements 13 and import that into a new Premiere Elements 13 project with Add Media/Files and Folders,
does it import into the new project. And, when the video is in the new project, does it display video and have audio in the Edit area monitor?
We need more details of the properties of the finished video. Knowing that you have no problems with this matter in Premiere Elements 12 and that
the finished video plays in CyberLink are important, but they do not help to figure out what is happening in 13 so that it does not happen again.

Thanks for posting the outcome. Appreciated.
Please let me know if you need supplemental information.
