When i take a look at the CSS / xhtml generated by Indesign in my Fixed Layout EPUB the styles applied to my <p> style & its parent <div> are huge...
width:8580px;height:4140px;position:absolute;top:7.55px;left:0px;-webkit-transform-origin: 0% 0%; -webkit-transform: rotate(0deg) scale(0.05);transform-origin: 0% 0%; transform: rotate(0deg) scale(0.05);
Whats the point of making something massive just to scale it down again?
Is there a way to disable this - so fonts & images are the size they appear on screen & in relation to the document (1024 x 768)?
The point is avoiding fractional point values at the start of the process.
That seems to be necessary to reproduce exact layouts from InDesign pages to HTML pages in EPUB.
Don't ask me for details here.
But kerning characters on the basis on thousandth em could be a reason…
