You probably are on View>Screen Mode>Preview. Put it back to Normal.
Without being in a text input mode, klick W.
Finally back in the office.
Ellis home, it was already set to normal.
Willi, not sure I understand, but by clicking W all other margins disappear as well as items off the pages, but it doesn't give me the text boxes or the columns.
Probably something simple, but is driving me loopie.
Found a post here by someone with the same problem. The solution was CMD or CTRL-H. Worked for me. Cheers and thanks
This has still not worked for me. Just upgraded to InD 2017... can't figure out why some pages show the column guides and others don't! Driving me mad.
The ctrl+H shortcut is for View>Extras>Show/Hide Frame Edges, a feature typically only used by designers that don't know how to use Preview mode.
Patricia, are these pages perhaps using different master pages, some with guides and some without?
I think these are the only settings that can hide guides and frames:
View>Extras>Show/Hide Frame Edges
View>Grids & Guides>Show/Hide Guides
