    Need to completely recreate my picture folder directory in Lightroom 4 for MAC. Can I simply do an reinstall of Lightroom 4 or must I uninstall first?

      My picture folder library in Lightroom is no longer workable. The main folder for 2014 photos has created subfolders for 2014 at 6 different layers.

      This occurred when photos with older dates were directly imported into Lightroom For example,

      2014 (main folder)

      ->2009 (subfolder)

      ->2014 (subfolder - layer 2)

      -->2014-01-01

      -->2014-01-02

          ...

      -->2014-05-03

      --->2014 (subfolder - layer 3)

      ---->2014-05-22

      ---->2014-06-10

            ...

      ---->2014-08-13

      ----->2014 (subfolder - layer 4)

      If I simply reinstall Lightroom 4, will the reinstalled application recreate the same folder library or can I reload the folder library myself?

      Or, do I need to uninstall Lightroom 4 first?
