I don't fully understand the question. What did you do, step by step?
I ordered a group of presets from Adobe...They came in 15 files containing about 10 presets in each.I had made a few presets of my own.
In order to keep some order, I made a file in Lightroom and dragged all of my presets into them. This left the Users Presets empty.
I tried to import the new presets I paid for by the files. Starting with Autumn. That didn't work. but it did work when I highlighted all the presets and imported them into Lightroom in the Development page.
I looked at the downloaded files again, opening a file. When I went to import it, I could no longer find any presets on the left side of the Lightroom Development page and consequently, I cannot find the presets I had or any way to import any other presets.
Develop presets are not "imported". They are just created or copied to the presets folder or a subfolder of the presets folder.
On Windows that folder would be something like this:
The best thing to do would be to copy the old presets back to their original spot, then add the new presets to the existing list, or put them in a subfolder. You will probably need to do this from the Windows File explorer (or mac Finder?).
Never mind.....I figured it out.....I don't know what I did to make Presets menu below the Navigator disappear, but I did. I use a Mac and if you Ctrl click the overall box ...there are check marks for Naivgator, History, Presets, Snapshots and Collections. Presets got unchecked.. IF you Ctrl click the Presets Menu at the top, where it says Presets,,,...then it shows a tab that does say "Import" and you can add Presets that way.
