How can I dynamically pull in data from a webapp to a native or hybrid app sold in the Apple/Android/Windows store?

I have built some native and hybrid apps using Wordpress API and now I need to make an app that has its roots in a BC site.  I need to make an API call from a native app or hybrid app to pull in webapp items (Name,image,content, and llink).

For BC Webapps there are no API's for it (yet).

how about bc events? api for that?  It seems like an api is useless for anything outside of a bc site.  I am looking into alternatives to use for an api to provide data TO my bc site and native app, versus my bc site provide data TO my native app.  Either way, I am working harder than I think I should
