I can see it's a common problem with Adobe Photoshop.
Or maybe it’s a common mistake on the user side.
Anyway, this is a user to user Forum, so you are not really addressing Adobe here, even though some Adobe employees thankfully have been dropping by.

Yes - the Mac we use for storing all our working files on - was given a specific IP address.
The problem was that all three Mac machines thinks they are just one and the same machine - because of the same Apple ID (I think so)
Then the other Mac machines - would connect to our storing Mac - as it was a server: Go > Connect to server > afp://xxx.xxx.x.xxx
