Save the ASE file into your swatches directory
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Color Swatches (or something similar)
open PS and chose "Swatches" from the "Window" menu, click on the arrow in the swatches tab and load em up!
OR you can import them from the Swatches window
Is the ase format for Windows only, or CS2 specific? I run CS1 on OS X and I can't use them .
Thank you Ostrya.geo. Now that you have explained it, it seems obvious, but at the time...
I am still on CS ... when I save the ase file or try to "load" into my swatch library it doesn't work. Is ase only for CS2 programs? Thanks.
.ASE files are compatible with Adobe CS2 products (Photoshop, Illustrator, GoLive, InDesign), and unfortunately do not work with CS products.
