What file extension do these files have? Also, do the fonts work if you install them into Windows "the usual way"?
How did you "add" these fonts to the Windows fonts folder? You should be right-clicking on them and choosing install.
Does a reboot help? If they were properly installed, and don't show after a reboot, try deleting the Adobefnt*.lst files where * is a two digit number.
Thank you for your reply.
The fonts were delivered to us as .otf files, I installed both as .oft and .ttf by right clicking and installing so no, no luck there.
Sorry, yes, they appeared in Windows, worked in Word.
Hi P Spier,
All of that basic stuff done, however I did not delete the .lst file.
Once that was done and the PC was restarted, my new fonts now appear in InDesign.
Guess you are Mr FixIt!!!
Most grateful for your solution.
