Try the arrow-keys.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I am aware of arrow keys to nudge.
I work in enormous files. Can you imaging having to arrow up/down/left/right to get an object where you want it w/o being allowed to simply drag it and drop it???? Especially when you are duplicating objects, ie Leaves of a tree?
( like in EVERY OTHER PHOTOSHOP VERSION since the BEGINNING OF PHOTOSHOP - ahem Adobe)
This is a problem that clearly needs a patch. I hate PSCC2014. For the few extra treats, there's no need to change or eliminate what has worked so wonderfully forever.
Which operating system are you using?
Have you applied all the operating updates and photoshop updates (Help>Updates from within photoshop)?
Updated your graphics card drivers if your on a windows system?
Holding down the Ctrl/Cmd key prevents snapping in most instances. When I say most, I mean all the circumstances I can think of, but your particular use might not be exactly the same.
