My ID-Layout uses several kinds of underlining typography defined in formats (german Zeichenformate). Now I realised that in some cases I defined line thickness and offset but forgot tu define the line art. When exporting PDF these cases are shown with a normal (not dotted) line. Color and thickness are ok. Does this mean that this line art (normal) is the standard setting in InDesign? And does showing the line in PDF mean that printing it will be proper too?
So, do you want dotted underlines, but haven't actually set them as dotted in InDesign? Or that they're set as dotted in InDesign, but aren't in the exported PDF?
Thank's for the reply. I want normal lines (not dotted). But I did not set them to normal so the setting is unselected (same as if you would set to "ignore"). With this incomplete setting ID and PDF show the lines normal (like I want it). But is it sure that they will printed normal too? Otherwise I would have to correct the setting in a lot of files.
