A user at my office recently upgrades from CS6 to Creative Cloud (updated to the latest version and everything) and it works fine except one function, namely the Help function or context help. That is, clicking Help > Help about <application> or pressing F1. Internet Explorer opens, tries to open a web page and then returns error 403 (you are not authorized to view this page). What could be causing this and how can I restore the help function?
F1 should try to open page Photoshop Help | Photoshop Help does this like work on their machine. It it does there is an installation problem with their Creative Cloud install. If it does not open in his browser you need to find out why the server is refuseing to deliver the page.
A web server may return a 403 Forbidden HTTP status code in response to a request from a client for a web page or resource to indicate that the server can be reached and understood the request, but refuses to take any further action. Status code 403 responses are the result of the web server being configured to deny access, for some reason, to the requested resource by the client.
