I switched hard drives and now I'm trying to open inDesign and its saying that its Missing Required files, the only one its showing thats missing is Roman.txt, how do I get this file and then install it? Do I need to go back to the old hard disk, uninstall it from there then reinstall it to the new one?
How did you switch hard drives? Did you recreate the old drive from an image, or something else? Are your OS and programs on this drive, or just data files?
I took it to a computer tech guy who removed my old hard drive from my macbook pro and replaced it with a new one. He put the old one in a case so it acts as a hard drive now, so I plugged it in the USB port and copied and pasted everything into the new drive, documents, pictures, even applications, when I then tried to open my adobe applications, one of them said a .txt file is missing, the other said Error: 5 and the only one which is photoshop worked
You cannot copy applications that way. You need to run the installers and install them on the new hard drive.
