We want to install the screenshot updates for CS5 Design Premium.  Unfortunately, the first one we tried, AdobeBridge, asked for ApplicationManager, and when we tried to run that, it told us to run SupportAdvisor, which no longer exists.

Why is this happening, and how can we resolve it?  We have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, and our current CS5 components are:

Bridge CS5   4.0.5.11
Content Viewer   Version unknown
Contribute CS5 (CS5... folder)   PDF...
Device Central  CS5   3.0.1.0
Digital Edition 3.0   3.0.0.0
Dreamweaver CS5   11.0.4.4993
Extension Mgr CS5   5.0.0.334
Fireworks CS5   11.0.1.7
Flash Builder 4 (CS5... folder)   PDF...
Flash Catalyst CS5   Version unknown

Flash Professional CS5 (CS5... folder)    PDF...

Flash CS5   11.0.2.489
Illustrator CS5   15.0.2.399
InDesign CS5   7.0.4.553
Photoshop CS5   12.0.4.0
Utilities CS5   Version unknown
Widget Browser   Version unknown

Thanks in advance!

We want to install the screenshot updates for CS5 Design Premium.  Unfortunately, at least AdobeBridge asked for ApplicationManager, and when we tried to run that, it told us to run SupportAdvisor, which no longer exists.

The files we downloaded from Product updates include:

ApplicationManager8.0_all.exe

ApplicationManager8.0_all.zip

AdobeInDesign7_0_4Patch-All.zip

AdobeIllustrator_15.0.2.zip

FlashCS5_Update.zip

Fireworks_11.0.2_All_AdobeUpdate.zip

AdobeExtensionManager-5.0.1-mul-AdobeUpdate.zip

AdobeDreamweaver-11-0-All-Update.zip

DeviceCentral_2.1.1_mul_AdobeUpdate.zip

AdobeBridge_4.0.5_mul_AdobeUpdate.zip

All help is appreciated.  We need to USE CS5 Design Premium, not just have it take up space on our PC!

you could check your log files to see if there's a specific error, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC

otherwise, i don't see a practicable way how to help you via a forum.

The instructions at that location are confusing...

What options do we have if that set of instructions doesn't work, since CS5 is at least two versions prior to the current one (CC)?

No, although it took a few seconds to figure out what parts of the instructions should have followed each other.

We are asking what options we have for getting help if the logs don't provide an answer.  From what we've noticed, the only options we have are either the forums or telephone, and telephone is not viable--Support probably won't answer anything about products from as far back as CS5 pre-CS5.5.

kglad said, "otherwise, i don't see a practicable way how to help you via a forum."

That suggests there may be alterenatives.  What would those be?
