I have a Lenovo laptop featuring switchable graphics: an integrated Intel 5000 card and a dedicated AMD Radeon R9 M275. Most of the time the laptop makes use of the integrated graphics to preserve battery life. If I want to run something more graphically intensive, I need to open the AMD Catalyst control panel and add that application to the list of programs that should make use of the AMD chip. I have completed these steps, but the AMD Catalyst control center shows that InDesign is not using the Radeon card. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the AMD and Intel graphics drivers to no avail. It is my understanding that most laptops with a dedicated graphics card make use of switchable graphics; can it be that Adobe does not support these machines?
