I am considering taking some AE classes offered locally here in Houston. They run $1300 for a 3 day class, there is a beginners and an advanced class. I am familiar with AE but am worried if I skip the Beginners they may be building on that in the advanced.
It is expensive and am also wondering if I take 3 solid days with a couple of good books if I will not learn about the same.
Like books? Want a good, solid foundation in the basics? Get your mitts on Chris & Trish Meyer's fine series for AE.
They cover everything in the AE Classroom in a book series, they come with project files & footage, and they're especially known for their list of "AE Gotchas", things that can go wrong in AE for some weird reasons.
Get the basics from the books... then decide if you want to drop four figures on person-to-person training.
Thanks,. I love books and would prefer not to spill out 4 figures.
