Working on Yosemite 10.10.2
Latest updated version of AE CC as of Feb 25, 2015
While working in after effects, suddenly some of my menu commands stop working. Most notably, right-clicking an asset in your project panel and attempting to replace footage>>file DOES NOTHING
Also, double clicking the project panel to import files DOES NOTHING
Going to file import DOES NOTHING
The only thing that works is dragging a file into the panel to import it or restarting AE
The other thing that's happening at absolutely random times is that I'll get an error message saying: "After Effects Warning: Undo group mismatch, will attempt to fix". Usually this will undo a few steps in my project, and usually follows file imports.
As you can imagine, when working with MANY files and projects over a period of a few months, this is completely unacceptable.
Is anyone else having these issues??!
Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like what files you work with, where they are stored and so on.
OS X Yosemite
Mac Pro (Late 2013)
Processor 3 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5
Memory 64 GB 1866 MHz DDR3 ECC
Graphics AMD FirePro D700 6144 MB
As I've stated: After Effects CC 2014, updated to latest version.
Files are stored both locally and on a network drive.
The files I'm importing are both .mp4 and .mp3. Other files in the project are .ai files and .wav files. There is nothing complicated about any one piece of it.
Exactly the same thing is happening to me.
Im running the same set up as you.
Come on adobe cats whats the problem here?
