What KIND of music (WAV or MP3 or ???) and what is the SOURCE of the music?
If you are trying to use music from iTunes, you are most likely having problems with Apple copy protection
It is a M4a. this music is from iTunes but I brought this music. I already downloaded to my computer and plays fine on quicktime. Is there any solution to this ?

Where are you creating this slideshow - in the Premiere Elements Editor or in the Elements Organizer that comes with your
Premiere Elements version?
As John has asked, where is this music coming from - iTunes or other?
If you have Premiere Elements 13, have you updated 13 to 13.1 from an opened project's Help Menu/Update which should give you the opportunity to update
Elements Organizer 13 as well as Premiere Elements 13 Editor.
Please convert you music to the wav version in iTunes according to the following and then import the wav version into the project.

The answer is to convert your m4a to a wav version in iTunes according the instructions in the link that I have provided in post 3.
If you need any help with the instructions in that link, please do not hesitate to ask. I have been through that procedure successfully many times.
