    CS5 InDesign Mac keeps crashing?

    fineman2

First I would like to thank the people who have tried to help me with this problem.

Does Adobe provide paid support for CS5 Indesign? If so how do I reach them.

I've contact some sites, but they are bogus and wanted to sell me black market  programs.

This has been going on for weeks and basically the program is useless.

I'm on a Mac using 10.7.5 and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the entire Creative Suite 5 Design Standard in case there is a conflict with any of the other programs.

I've trashed my preferences and rebooted and still have problems. After rebooting I can't find my preferences listed for InDesign.

      I've tried a patch CopyIconRsrcsPrompt1.

      I'm up-to-date with my updates.

      I've deleted and rebooted:

      ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe InDesign CS5

      ~/Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign
      ~/Library/Caches/com.adobe.InDesign
      ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign
      ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.InDesign.plist
      ~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.InDesign.plist.lockfile
      ~/Library/Saved Application State/com.adobe.InDesign.savedState

      I've tried Sing Removal

When I print out a document it's fine but when I try to save it takes between 50-60 sec to finally save or it says the program is not responding.

      What's going on?

      Michael
