I have CS6 Masterclass on my old Macbook Pro and have used Time Machine to restore that system onto a new Mac bringing with it CS6 which is now asking me to buy the software that I've already bought. How do I fix this?

You should install Adobe applications using installation files. Transferring rarely works.

Hi Ned,
By installation files do you mean use the CD provided with the software to install?
Should I uninstall the CS6 on my new Mac?
Probably a silly question but I don't do this very often.

Yes, if you have the CD and your machine has a CD drive then reinstall using the CD. If you need to you can download the installation files as well. If you have the ability to open one of the programs, do so and check to see if there is a Deactivate option under the help menu. If so, use it and then uninstall the transferred version. Then reinstall. If you open the program and see no Deactivate option then just uninstall and reinstall.

‌Hi,
I installed it with no problems what so ever this time, not sure what the problem was but as I said it's working now so I'm happy.
Thanks,
John.
