HI Rob - it's coming along well! I'll keep you guys in the loop, but this is definitely slated to be released this year. Unfortunately that's the most specific timeline info I have right now - hopefully we will be opening things up to beta testers, so I"ll be sure to let you know as soon as I hear a more specific timeline.
Well, let's hope it's sooner rather than later because from April 21, 2015, Google have made it very clear they're going to be favouring responsive sites:
You said that last year!
Baby steps, we're not asking you to reinvent the wheel, we just want our sites to be capable and competitive. Why not release select responsive themes? OR better yet, create another theme category for responsive themes. Is it really that hard? Why loose business being pigheaded and taking years to release an updated version of Prosite when you could just give us the features we'd like.
It's not rocket appliance.
Would like to ad that 75% of my site views are coming from a mobile device resolution...
I'm also really disappointed that there isn't a responsive option for prosite yet, especially as another user mentioned that Google will be favouring responsive sites from next week. I only launched my prosite a few months ago, but I've actually had so many comments about it not being responsive; it's embarrassing and seems unprofessional, but there's nothing I can do but wait for you guys to prioritise it.
Sarah, how can we become a beta tester?
We shouldn't have to cheat the system to make our site responsive.
This seems to be taking a long time to implement.
I'd appreciate being a beta tester if possible.
Please include me as a beta tester … SOON!
I would also appreciate being a beta tester if possible, and would be happy to review it on my blog.
This actually doesn't work. Maybe with tweaking but I don't have the time to screw up my page! ha.
Got this answer from a Béhance employee today:
"I can assure you that we are working actively towards a release planned for the next few future months. Although I cannot promise a date right now, our team is working hard to build a bigger better prosite."
There you go … another carrot on a stick.
happy to beta test if needed. Thanks!
Looking forward to helping you beta test this puppy :-)
Would love to beta test too. Prosite is so easy to use, I would hate to switch over to another one as I enjoy it so much.
After submitting a Support Ticket to find out anymore details I was told ProSite 2.0 is due for release later this summer with a public beta this summer aswell.
Hopefully it will come out this summer, haven't got high hopes due to the track record of Behance staff plucking random dates from thin air
They have been promising responsive sites for so many years now and just continue repeating the same excuses, don't waste your time with Behance. Build a site on another platform like Squarespace or Cargo and promote yourself via social channels, can't rely on institutions which have no interest in the needs of it's users.
Yes, a very poor excuse to be honest. Adobe should hang their head in shame regarding Prosite. Glad I signed up to The Grid, lets hope this isn't a complete let down too!!
Once again, I contacted the help-desk for any news on this long-awaited Prosite update and this is the answer I got: "An update has certainly been a long time coming. Right now, we're locked into a Fall launch with a soft/beta launch in late summer" …
I never see any substantial updates to Prosite and have been waiting for years for a responsive theme to make an appearance. I can't keep waiting and am really considering moving my portfolio elsewhere. It's a joke that I design responsive websites and want to showcase that, yet my portfolio website is not responsive. I'm not much of a developer, so I liked the ease of use of Prosite and it's integration with my Behance portfolio.
And they also increased the price.
With ~30%. Why?
(was 10 E per month, now is 13 E)
Hi everyone - thanks so much for your ongoing feedback, we appreciate it.
Our team is in full swing finalizing the next iteration of ProSite. This all-new product will address a lot of the concerns expressed on this forum. From responsive layouts, to more templates and an easier interface- we are very excited for this announcement in early October.
We are working hard to get you the best product we absolutely can and will let you know as soon as this is accessible to use. Until then, please fill out this form to ensure you are one of the first to know!
That's great to hear. I've filled out the form and look forward to trying out the new version!
I was wondering if beta testing would be available any earlier than October? I'd love to try it early and it would make great content for my blog www.emmelineillustration.blogspot.com. I'd love to promote the launch on social media too www.twitter.com/emmelinedraws.
I'm sure its not just me who is eagerly awaiting the promised announcement regards Prosite 2 but given that it is now early October and this issue has been going on for years, when exactly will this upgrade be implemented?
I've filled in the wufoo form (wufoo?) 2 months ago and have still heard nothing. No early emails to keep up to speed, no date to eagerly await the long expected and urgently required update, and no invite to participate in beta testing? Come on, what's going on. When is early October? Towards the middle? The end? This year?
Appreciate any updates you'd care to give.

Thanks for that
I don't mean to seem too negative, but that's a pretty short feature list.
Considering we've waited so long for this 'awesome' new platform, I was hoping this would give Squarespace a run for its money.
It says it's customisable, can we directly edit the HTML / CSS?
Will there be blog functionality? Pretty standard feature these days...
Can we easily integrate a store to sell prints or plugins?
So it's been announced, but when can we use it? Next week? Next year?
The exact same thoughts popped into my head when I had a detailed look at myportfolio.com …
followed by: "Have I really been waiting sooooo long for a Fisher Price version of a web builder?"
Let's hope I'm completely wrong.
I would forget it guys, sounds like another let down...like The Grid, which I'm still waiting for!!
Checkout Wix, I've just signed up for a year and made this which is pretty good. Let me know what you think :-)
I've waited... and waited... and waited... and waited... and waited... and waited...
And I'm tapping out. Just signed up to SquareSpace. To be honest the features list for MyPortfolio looks thin compared to Squarespace anyway.
I just did the same and am much happier with my portfolio now. I've already gotten some inquiries on my new contact form there. Sorry, Prosite/Adobe. Too little too late.
It seems like a lot of people are giving up on this now. I can't help feeling like the October preview announcement was just to keep people holding on a little longer, but has anyone actually been given a preview? I don't know anyone who has! They're saying an official launch by the end of the year now, but it's disappointing. The main reason I went for prosite was ease of updating my portfolio, but it seems pointless to do now that I know I'll have to overhaul it all soon! Maybe it would be worth checking alternatives.
Or at least make this preview available to all the people in this thread since we are the most upset by the lack of change.
I would give it a miss, Adobe, The Grid...what a waste of time.
I signed up to WIX, it's amazing!!
Had a look at WIX but don't like sites that want you to open an account before they tell you anything.
Back to Squarespace tired of waiting for Adobe
You'll be sorry you didn't try mate, it's far better than Square space
