    Premiere elements 13 setup fails at sign-in

      I downloaded Premiere Elements 13 yesterday. The file extraction and app manager installation went ok. When I clicked on setup and went to the Welcome screen, I selected "Install-I have purchased", and clicked on sign-in. After a few seconds message popped up saying the app manager had stopped. I have been thru this 5 times now, using suggestions from the chat agents, but always with the same outcome. I selected the trial option once to see if that made a difference, but t did not. I'm going thru the troubleshooting process myself now, but the first step in the process requires me to remove previous product installation attempts. The first step is

      Go to Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers or Applications > <Product version>, but I do not know how to get to "applications. Can anyone give me a hand with this?
