I've been asked to animate a small sequence with two website links. My client wants the short video to be embedded into an email, but I'm not sure what format I should export the final copy as so that it will play in the email and have the buttons working as well.
The buttons are set up through text, with the links set up in the Properties bar, under Options, with Target: _blank.
I think the email my client is intending to use is GMail, but I'm not sure.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Unless things have changed recently, there is no means for embedding a Flash swf file in an email such that it plays.... there is no Flash Player designed for email software. If you can convert the animation to an animated GIF file then you might be able to send that and apply html links to it in the email code.
Yes, I don't want it out as a swf, I just want it to be embedded into an email with clickable buttons.
I do not know of anything that you can convert/publish it to that would have any contained buttons be functional.
