Bought Lightroom 5 on disc last year. Never used it. Now have MacBook Pro w/no optical drive. How do I download it.

I bought Lightroom 5 on disc last year. Due to health issues with my 96 year-old Dad (I'm his live-in caregiver), I never installed it onto my iMac. Now I am able to install it and have a brand new MacBook Pro, but it doesn't have an optical drive. On this site it specifically says if you have a previous version on disc, you can't download, but my disc is Lightroom 5...How do get a digital download? Thanks for your help. Larry
