    Another CSS trick?

    P-C-Surgeonz
      Is the yellow to white gradient background on this website created with a CSS style? http://www.wildrosewebsites.com/. Does the image reload similar to the centered page shadow background? Are there any tutorials that might help creating something similar? Is it inserted into a table to get the border effect? I tried to make sense of the source code but am only familiar with basic html.

          All CSS, as found in this file http://www.wildrosewebsites.com/styles/main.css

          #mainWrapper {
          margin: 135px 16px 0px 17px;
          border: 1px solid #666666;
          background: #ffffff url(/images/mainWrapperGradient.jpg) repeat-x;
          }

          #contentWrapper {
          margin: 50px 20px 0px 20px;
          background: url(/images/bottomFiligree.gif) no-repeat bottom right;
          }

          Huh? The yellow->white gradient repeats in the X direction.

          Look around the tutorials at Project Seven http://projectseven.com/

          Not a table in sight. Maybe you mean this, again from main.css:

          #mainWrapper {
          margin: 135px 16px 0px 17px;
          border: 1px solid #666666; /*Border added here */
          background: #ffffff url(/images/mainWrapperGradient.jpg) repeat-x;
          }

            Thanks for the help. I knew the shadow page used CSS with the repeat-y, but I didn't think about the gradient using the repeat-x. I need lots of practice with CSS............................
