And, there is always the issue of maintaining the connect of the source media with the project file. Is this move from 10 to 13/13.1
happening on the same computer and are the source media in the same place where they were when they were first imported
into the 10 project. Disc menus consideration may enter into this depending on your details.
This is on Windows 7 64 bit.
I guess the answer is to keep my version 10 installation active.
And I note your tip to make a COPY of the project file and try to load that into version 13

Good idea to keep Premiere Elements 10 installed and activated while you are getting to know Premiere Elements 13 and its 13.1 Update.
The workspaces changed dramatically after 10. They have remained essentially the same in 11, 12, and 13. Minor adjusts in 13.1. Principles should remain the same, but features
can be moved, changed, or discontinued.
