Lightroom error - common solutions ain't helping

Hey from Germany,

I just got my Lightroom 5 and tried to install it several times but I always end up getting this error code:

"An error occurred during the installation of assembly component

{5C21D397-1DA5-3749-8C1F-165F21DE9E3E}.
HRESULT: 0x800736FD. "

I tried to restart the computer, I tried to deinstall and reinstall the frameworks (like it said in solutions of the 1935 error).

Now I actually can't find ANY net.Frameworks anymore - I might ended up doing something wrong in this case, but if so, I don't know what I did wrong.

It might help if someone could explain what I need to do.

Your help would be appreciated, thank you!

Hello,

I don't know if it helps: But on my W8.1 system I have only -NET Framework 4.5.1 running.
Try to uncompress the setup using 7-zip. The setup itself contains two setups - one for 32bit one for 64bit. Try to start the correct version by hand.

Addresses Microsoft Updates and .NET Framework issues. Make sure to restart your computer before applying any of these fixes. Also turn off all antivirus applications.
