adobe flash player green screen hardware acceleration error

when viewing videos there is a very annoying error where the screen turns green when playing, various links on the internet says its due to hardware acceleration & to disable it, but on internet explorer there is no way to disable the hardware acceleration from the settings menu, so please fix this error so that the screen stops turning green while playing videos., it is a very pain in the ass inconvenience
