There is a problem. Adobe Camera Raw has not been updated in a few months and this camera has just been released.
However Olympus does supply a raw plug that will work with Photoshop.

We are so due a full on Photoshop update.
Thanks very much, Becky. Glad you can get on with your work!
Just to let you know, I have downloaded the Olympus High Res Shot Raw Photoshop plug-in and have installed the software BUT when following the Olympus manual instructions to go to Photoshop > File > Import, the plug-in does not appear, as Olympus says it would. I called Olympus and after a long discussion the final result was that Olympus is waiting for Adobe to update Camera Raw. I said well, when that happens I will not need your plug-in! The support person agreed!!
Is there any hope?
I'm really surprised. I thought the plugin was a way to access the raw files that their camera makes. Did they even try to find out why and offer a fix?
You can go to the Camera Raw forum and see if they have any ideas. Adobe Camera Raw
Many thanks for the ACR update. I will install it immediately.
I do appreciate your help with this.
I have downloaded the Camera Raw 8.8 but when I go into Bridge to see the thumbnail, I do not get a picture, just the file name under an oblong box. Then, when I get the image into Camera Raw and do the processing, next time I go back into Bridge I get an error message saying “Photoshop cannot open this file” . Any thoughts. I have tried downloading 8.8 again but still get the same results.
Not sure if you can help but maybe I’ll have to go to Adobe?
You may need to purge your Bridge cache for the folder with Mark II raws in it using:
Bridge / Tools / Cache / Purge Cache For Folder current-folder-name
I can see Mark II files in Bridge 5.0.2 for CS6 after installing the ACR 8.8 update, but I didn't try viewing thumbnails in the folder before I had ACR 8.8 so there were no cached "cannot read this file" thumbnails..
If purging the cache and letting it rebuild doesn't work check to see what version of ACR Bridge has by using ridge / Edit / Camera Raw Preferences... (that's the Windows menu path). Here is what I see:
I’ve just received a notice for updates from Adobe CC which included the ACR 8.8 and my ORF images now appear and I can process them without a problem.
Thanks for your suggestion.
