# Numbering Tickets with 1c to €20

I need to number 2000 tickets with 1c to €20

Listed as so:

Ticket Price: 1c

Ticket Price: 2c

Ticket Price: 3c

all the way up to

Ticket Price: €19.97

Ticket Price: €19.98

Ticket Price: €19.99

Ticket Price: €20.00

Any clever ideas to automate this?

It's cool - I did it in excel quick enough, I can just data merge it in.

1c to 99c setup as Custom in format cells

as #c

Then the normal currency for  €1.00 all the way to €20

Ok next challenge on this project.

I need to have all the 1c to 99c in 1 pdf, then all the €1 to €1.99 in another and so on.

Any ideas to automate this?

Yes that's time consuming lol.

It's cool I've sorted it another way.

As it's been stepped 8 up, I put numbered columns from 1 - 8 in the excel sheet.

Then I put 1-250 in column 1 and 251-500 in column 2 etc. all the way to 2000

Stepped up manually 1 sheet and data merged column 1 into top left column 2 into top right column 3 into next and so on.

That gives me all the 1c to  €2.50 when stacked in order, so there's no colating at the end.

That's not what you said you needed....

I know Peter, thanks for the help.

I've talked with the printers and agreed this setup. I'm just putting my thoughts down as I go along.

Maybe someone has a better way?

That's exactly how I do my numbered tickets I'm about to print for a charity event.
