Solved by uninstalling and reinstalling both Ext Manager and CC 2014.
If you read the instructions he provides, you need to change the extension of the file zxp to a zip file by right clicking on it and changing it, and then it will work as a normal zip file.
I am having a problem changing the extension.
Let me know if you are able to do it.
I was able to change to .zip with no issues. In my case it appears that
Ext Manager wasn't recognizing that I had CC 2014. I uninstalled and
reinstalled both and then everything worked fine.

I had a lot of problems with installing to CC 2014 and 2015 and what helped me is this installer http://install.anastasiy.com
It's a free tool for installing ZXP files. Worked for MagicPicker (the color wheel from the same guys) and for all 3rd party plugins I had. It should work for Easy Panel as well!
