Hello All,

I am using RoboHelp X5, to develop a project which includes PowerPoint Presentations and PDF Files. I created two new folders under Baggage File Folder to house the different formats. I create my links and everything is working as it should (i.e., the files open).

Since, I am not specifying which program to open, how are the files opening? Does the applicable software open based on the file extension? In this case .PDF or .PPS

Curious,

Hi CRO1,

I guess this is something that is handled by the OS and not RoboHelp.

Ta,

Hi. Kewal is right. The file extension is used to see what application is associated with it when openiing the file. This is controlled by Windows.
