    Flash says it's installed but PowerPoint says it's not.


      Every time I close a PowerPoint file I get a pop-up message from one of my other software programs telling me I need Flash Player 10. It automatically launches an IE Flash Player Help for Windows 8. When I click update IE to get the latest version of Flash and run the installer, it tells me the update is already installed. I did try to completely delete Flash a few months ago under the direction of the Adobe Connect support team, but it did not erase all of the Flash files. I think the remaining files cause the installer to think I have Flash fully installed. Not sure how to get past this issue. Running in circles!
