Horizontal text? Not possible in LR settings. Only work-around I know is to use a "Sideways" font. (Do a Google search)
I don't see a small orange square. Can you give more information, thanks.
Thanks for your reply. Re the spine, the print icon is verticle with the spine so it won't print horizontally across the space………did not have that problem before on previous books. On the front cover in the print box template below the photo, after I set the type in place I moved the mouse pointer off the cover and clicked which usually clears the template boxes but in this case it leaves a very tiny orange square in the bottom left hand corner of the print template box, which I can't seem to clear. Hi Richard, I have not been of any help to you, sorry.
I have not known the spine text to ever print horizontal (in Lightroom !) the text always runs down the spine. Maybe its possible in Blurb or other book design programs.
My screen clips are different fonts- Myriad Pro and Blocky Sideways. You could design (in Photoshop) an image that covers both Front & Back pages with your text overlaid so as to appear on the spine. But I am not sure what you are trying to achieve.
The orange square- I cannot replicate or explain. Keep asking the question.
If you press [Enter/Return] at the end of entering text in a text box- another text box is opened to allow multiple text boxes in different positions & fonts on the cover. But I have never seen your "orange square".!
THANKS - I managed to solve both problems.........Richard
Would be great if you shared solutions...Im having same problem
If it is the "Orange square" - i have since learned that it is an indicator that all the text will not fit within the Spine text cell.
If you type some words in the Spine text cell, select all the text, then enlarge the Character size with the slider, at some point you will see the orange square appear.
My book titles are always short, so I had not seen the orange square.
