If you sign in to your account you should have a 'Switch Plan' option where you can change to a prepaid plan.

The only options I can see in my account (norwegian) is to "cancel membeship" and "change payment". But for change payment, there are only one option for changing payment method. Not for who often you want to pay.
I've looked through the "manage your membership and payments" but I couldn't find anything that was regarding my problem.

Yes, it would use the same payment method.
The new contract starts on the day the switch is done. If we do it today, your new contract will run from 12th March, 2015 to 12th March, 2016 and you will be refunded the unused days on your current monthly plan.
