    Adjusting Quicktime bitrate

    fhoulbr36 Level 1

When exporting my video, I went into an issue. I were able with previous update to change the Quicktime Bitrate into After effects but it's seems greyed out.

First the checkbox can only be checked clicking onto the text of the option, not the checkbox itself. Second, I can't find any way to change the bitrate value. I had to duplicate old export to get my settings correctly set.

Here's a screenshot of the window.

      Thank you.bitrate.jpg

Click on the Reglages du codec button. There are more adjustments in there.

But you must understand this:  you can't have 100% quality at a lower bit rate.

Hi, thank you for the answer.

Regarding the quality, it's not an issue to compress it a bit more as the subtitles I made in AE are very simple and the final video is downsized so I didn't noticed any issue after final rendering.

I just exported my titles in PNG with transparency to aleviate some performance issues in Premiere CC when rendering directly from AE (or in Media Encoder). Much quicker result this way.

            Thank you again.
