    duplicateMovieClip & tabIndex

      i have an MC on my stage. him whack init!

      but getting back to the flash question...

      i have a movieclip and i intend to, indeed have, duplicated it. twice. great! three clips from one, i'm a winner, woo-hoo!

      now, they'll be buttonian clips so i'll be wanting to assign them tabIndexes. thus:

      btn_1.tabIndex = 1;
      btn_2.tabIndex = 2;
      btn_3.tabIndex = 3;

      hardly rocket science i think you'll agree. however, our original MC, the nattily monickered 'btn_1' refuses to take any tab focus, my tab key just flips back between 2 and 3. if i go on to put btn_2 concretely on the stage and duplicate btn's 3 and 4 from it and then run this code:

      btn_1.tabIndex = 1;
      btn_2.tabIndex = 2;
      btn_3.tabIndex = 3;
      btn_4.tabIndex = 4;

      btn's 1 and 2 take no tab focus. irritatingly, again it's only the duplicated versions wot have it.

      uh... come again?
