What do you mean exactly by Doesn't Work. What happens when you select Edit In Photoshop? If you open PS first does the image open in PS then?
Thanks for your response. When you choose "edit in PS" in LR, PS will open but the file from LR never opens. I had this problem before and uninstalling LR and PS then reinstalling fixed the problem. The problem has returned and the above solution does not work. I even used "Adobe CC Cleaner Tool" from Adobe to now avail. Opening PS first does not help.
Also the Automate->Photmerge function no longer works. Maybe Adobe will be able to help on when tech support is available on Monday.

Turns out the problem for me was that I needed to update Camera Raw. I was using a new camera and my current camera raw converter did not support the files from the new camera. Unfortunately, my older version of PS wouldn't work with the latest version of Camera Raw so I had to also purchase a new version of Photoshop.
you could of used the newest version of the Adobe DNG converter to convert your new cameras raw files to DNG and then your original version of PS and ACR would of been able to see those files. Also if your version of LR can see and edit the raw files from your new camera you shouldn't have problems sending them to any version of PS. The file is already edited and sent to PS as either a PSD or TIFF.
I'm a professional photographer, walking in sometimes with as many as 6-7 thousand files after a job. Actually, I shoot that many on a regular basis during my busy times. No way am I going to convert files to DNGs. Better to just update the software and stay current.
Did you hear back from Adobe on this?
I've done the whole uninstall and reinstall process and even went so far as to make a fake user account on my computer in hopes of maybe fixing this.
I am using a D7000 (so the camera isn't too new) & the latest updates of Photoshop CC & Lightroom (installed from the creative cloud desktop app).
I worked with Adobe for a couple of hours to no avail. They escalated it
and I never heard back. I did the whole uninstall/install thing. Problem
still existed. I don't know what I did but out of nowhere it started to
work. A new PS update came out around the time it started to work, but I
can't say for sure that it fixed the problem.
If you read the entire thread, yes, they figured out my problem/ my issue was solved. Seem comment #3.
I don't know how to change the part that ways Not Answered.
