I have an external HD full of pictures from a 14 month RV trip using 3-4 cameras. I began with my primary camera set one year date behind the actual date and now I am wondering as I import into lightroom 5 can I make a global change for pictures taken from that camera that will update the year by one (rest of the date is fine). By doing this I can interleave the four camers by a sort by date. since I am a newbie at lightroom I thougt I better ask since this would save me a lot of work.
In Library under menu Metadata/Edit Capture Time the following dialog appears. You can change the year on the most selected photo and it will update the rest of the selected photos by the same amount. Before you use this on ALL your photos you should try a couple photos and see how it works. Highlight the year as I have and use the up/down arrow on the right to change the value. Also note that this can not be undone so you may want to make backups of your original files.
