Anyone know of a method to control playback an embedded swf?
I know the UI previously never supported being able to control the
embedded file to any degree. so i'm merely wandering if there has
been any development in this area since.
e.g i have embedded a swf into a slide. i have set the
powerpoint control of that item not to play the swf. now if i can
find a triggering method i could control when the playback of the
swf occurs within the duration of the slide. anyone know of such a
Short answer is you cannot control when a swf begins. As soon
as the slide appears that has the swf, it starts playing.
You can link the swf to the play/pause buttons by clicking on
Breeze | Presentation settings | Flash files tab.
thx. i looked at the compiled swf code when the presentation
is published - and can manage to tweak my flash coding to ensure
the swf's see each other. In other words 2 embedded swf's can talk
to each but it'd be a nightmare to do several times.
I'm getting so many projects with embedded swf work done by
the advertising agencies - it's a pity we can control them
