In Adobe premiere elements 13, what is the best format to save a video? I have saved it in standard and when I watch the video, it shows it as a box coverd by black squares on all 4 sides.  What is the best way to save the video in the best quality format while it is full screen?

Premiere Elements 13 on what computer operating system? Have you updated 13 to 13.1 yet using an opened project's Help Menu/Updates? If not, please do so.

          To your immediate question...

          1. You need to start off with the project preset (project settings) matching the properties of your source video.

The program is designed to do the job based on the properties of the first video file dragged to the Timeline. If it does not or cannot not

analyze your video correctly, then you set the project preset yourself before you import your source video into the project. In that case,

          see File Menu/New/Project.

          2. What are the properties of your source video - video and audio compressions, frame size, frame rate, interlaced or progressive, file extension,

pixel aspect ratio....knowing the brand/model/settings of the camera that recorded the video often can give us the information that we need to

          set up the project.

          3. What are your requirements for the end product?

Please review and consider the above, supply the information needed for us to help you, and then we can customize a reply for you

with full details. Any clarification needed, please do not hesitate to ask.

          Thank you.
