I'm using Premier Elements 10.
I shot my 1920 x 1080 footage at 29.97 frames per second. But there is no matching preset under PAL DSLR. The closest is 25 frames per second.
With hindsight I realise i should have shot my footage at 25 frames a second.
Since I am not going to use the output file for broadcast it seems like the best thing to do is to use the NTSC pre-set which is at 29.97 frames a second.
However; my question is if I did use the PAL preset at 25 frames per second with the footage at 29.97 frames per second what are the implications of this? Does the program drop frames in the source footage to match the preset?
Is your 1920 x 1080 at 29.97 frames per second interlaced or progressive?
