Premiere Elements 13 on Windows 8.1 64 bit
If you have not tried it already, please do the update with the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.
Lots of unresolved U44M1I210 issues across the product lines...some suggest rebooting.
The one comment that I saw directed at Premiere Elements was to create and run Premiere Elements from
a new user account with administrative privileges and do the update there....claim was then update would be
available to other users. I have not seen any feedback to the person who suggested that.
The disabling of the antivirus and firewall(s) has worked for some Premiere Elements 13 users. Hope that it
will work for you.
We will be watching for your progress.
Thanks for replying AT,
I've tried running the update with antivirus and firewall disabled but still get a fail with the Error Message Code: U44M1I210.
I'm running and trying to update from the only user account on the laptop and this has full admin privaleges so I'm not sure how creating a new user account could resolve the issue.
I guess I'll have to just keep ignoring the prompts to update and do with out the update until there is a new one that fixes this issue as well.
Thanks for the reply.
The mention of a new user account with administrative privileges as a possible fix for failed 13.1 Update was from Philomena Dolta
assumed member of the following web site
The Philomena Dolta's comment can be found in the discussion after the article. Also see About Us in that link for a description of that web site.
I have not found any confirmation that the suggestion has worked.
That Error Message Code U44M11210 is presenting for various Adobe products and, in the case of the Elements products,
there is no alternative to download the update from outside the program as is possible with some of the non Elements products.
As your schedule permits, please let us know of your progress with the information that I have provided and the links that John T. Smith
