Today, March 19th, at 13:00 UTC, we have updated the Business Catalyst service to include fixes for some of the issues discovered on the new engine and add additional APIs. You can find the detailed list of changes:
- Open Platform - added additional APIs
- Media downloads , News and FAQ APIs are now available for sites running on the new business catalyst engine; more information on the API specs can be found on the documentation portal
- Redactor enhancements
- Updated insert image screen to allow users to specify image height and width. Combined with the drag&drop resize already available in the editor, the update gives users full control over the image size;
- Added support for drag and drop images and files from local folders into the editor; this automatically uploads the images or files onto the server in a location that can be specified by Partners in Partner Portal > Tools > Online Editor settings
- Other bug fixes and updates
- 3916132 - Fixed an issue preventing users from updating changes in admin interfaces when using the old editor in Internet Explorer
- 3924947 - Fixed a issue on Internet Explorer that was preventing users from publishing changes when using ICE
- Changed the upgrade site, change site plans and purchase overages screens to show the secure URL in the browser window
- Updated support workflow for business owners so that can submit tickets to our regular support channels if the partners has allowed that from partner portal
- 3359491- Fixed an issue that was setting all resources (web app items, pages, blogs, catalogs and forums) to enabled instead of just the ones previously enabled once a payment has been confirmed for an expired site
- 3951952 - Fixed an issue causing the site transition warning to be duplicated
- 3951493 - Fixed an issue preventing the Site Settings > Mobile Support interface to save the device folders
- 3950584 - Fixed an issue preventing publish from ICE to work when a module_photogalery was present in the page
- 3943169 - Fixed an issue that was preventing twitter widgets from functioning when a module_photogalery was present in the page
- 3950529 - Updated the dashboard on webBasics and webBasics+ plans to correctly display the chart area
- 3930252 - Fixed an issue generating a "The web site you are trying to administer could not be found" error when logging out from Partner Portal
- 3930956 - Updated Module Manager to correctly insert parameters for module_case (view report)
- 3941747 - Fixed an issue causing an incorrect merge of HTML, HEAD and BODY tags when a site created from Partner Portal was edited with Muse
- 3941831 - Fixed an issue causing a JavaScript error when defining an ice:editable="module"
