    Which format add cuepoint to video

    nico1978

      I read that flv and f4v are now deprecated and Adobe recommend to encode the video in mp4 even if they are displayed in a flash banner.

      I am doing a lot of rich media banner and the best to synchronised a video with your animation is to use cuepoint.

      I read that mp4 doesn't support cuepoint. In that case how shall we do to pass information like cuepoint from our video to our flash animation?

          use the addASCuePoint method:

          flv_pb.source='yourvideo.mp4';  // assign source first

          flv_pb.addASCuePoint(timeofcuepoint1,'cp1');

          //etc

          flv_pb.addEventListener(fl.video.MetadataEvent.CUE_POINT,cpF);

          function cpF(e:fl.video.MetadataEvent):void{

          switch(e.info.name){

          case 'cp1':

          break

          //etc

          }

          }
