Adobe Flash Player Install Stuck at 30%

I have tried several different times on two different browsers to update this Adobe Flash Player. The install stops at 25% or 30% each time. I've seen other posts about this and a friend of mine's computer has done the same thing. I've troubleshooted every option except clearing my cache. I even went so far as to delete my old version AS INSTRUCTED by the troubleshoot and now I'm screwed with no Adobe Flash Player whatsoever. Someone's got to have a solution. This is getting ridiculous.

Had the same problem. Found the solution which worked for me on Mac OSX upgrade Adobe Flash Player, download stops - Ask Different

The workaround is to download the offline installer from this page http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html. Download the "DMG Installer (for System Administrators)" and install. After installing restart Safari for example and verify from http://www.adobe.com/uk/software/flash/about/ that you have installed.
