you can use a stage listener to check for resize:
really i got safari v312.6 and it works fine and in firefox and netscape1 person found this helpful
to do this: of course the stage would have to be 100% width and height, look into Stage.onResize function in Flash. add a stage listener to listen for the onResize. that function will get executed when the stage size changes when the browser size changes. inside that onresize function put your code or other function calls to reposition the elements.
my explanations/spelling can be hard to understand so i try my best.
Looks like both you guys are saying the same thing but I really could use more specifics like a code example to look at.
Lets say I have five movie clips caled 1_mc, 2_mc, 3_mc, etc.
1, 2, 3, 4 are positioned in the following order Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, & Bottom Right. With the 5_mc centered in the middle.
How would the code look for repositioning these movie clips when the browser window is resized.
P.S. I understand about making the SWF height 100% width 100% in the HTML wrapper.
Thanks in advance for any help with this!
I am really tring to figure this out on my own but not having much luck?
