No, absolutely no one outside Adobe knows that, and Adobe aren't saying, as they always do. New cameras like the ones you mention are only supported later on, after Adobe have obtained an example, and then profiled its output files so that Lr will work with them.
?? "new cameras coming" ????
Adobe cannot start working on the required profiles for processing raw files from new cameras until they are actually available to the public.
New updates for ACR and LR with support for processing new camera models are usually issued approximately every three months. See the screen capture for info.
Thank you both. I figured as much because it happened when I got the 5D Mk iii. Yes the new Canon camera is coming and was just released for pre-
order today from places like B&H. So it's not a rumor mill of a new camera. They expect shipping in late June and based on orders were placed.
No one knows when LR6 is coming out. Again “No one”!!! I would not go on the assumption of anyone knows anything, as it is just a guessing game until the actual release by Adobe. It cannot be any clearer than this!!!!
Ok,ok. uncle I give up!!!! The first two replies were clear enough. I understand NO one knows when LR6 comes out. If and when it does I assume they would address any new cameras like they have in the past with a rev if needed. The message is clear. No need for additional replies. My question has been answered.
